Just Roots offers a fall workshop series that addresses the food system and sustainable growing practices through various topics that span from growing, to harvesting & food storage, then composting. The classes offer both experiential and therapeutic learning.
The classes include:
- Introduction to Just Roots’ work and our community farms
- Ways to improve soil & plant health
- Methods for preserving freshness from field to refrigerator
- Practices for composting food scraps and minimizing food waste
