Fresh Food Farmacy
Our Fresh Food Farmacy Program provides patients and their families with freshly harvested produce from our farms, paired with cooking demonstrations, a nutrition guide, health and wellness classes, and more.
We partner with local health providers to expand access to healthy, culturally relevant food for the patients they serve. The program enables families to develop a deeper understanding of the direct connection between diet, nutrition, and health outcomes, while sharing skills and resources to help them integrate healthier foods into their diet using simple and accessible recipes.
Our current partners include La Rabida Children’s Hospital, the University of Illinois Chicago, and Common Threads.
