Education Programs

At Just Roots, we strive to provide a meaningful educational experience for people of all ages who visit our farms. Our education programs aim to equip participants with skills and resources to grow their own food and lead a healthier and more enriching life.

We also open our farms to community groups interested in utilizing the space to host an educational event or workshop. Interested in learning more? Please select the button below.

We facilitate free, experiential field trips and workshops for schools and other youth initiatives. The educational opportunities equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources to:

1. Understand our current food system.
2. Grow their own food using regenerative practices.
3. Harvest and use fresh produce to create simple, nutritious meals.
4. Reduce food waste and utilize home and garden composting systems.

We host youth groups Wednesday and Friday mornings. We also open the farm to other events facilitated by schools or community groups, such as lunch or classroom activities.
